QA05 Pine Scarf/Shawlette

"Pine is a pretty triangular scarf knit from the top down in a simple lace pattern that resembles a pine tree," says Corcoran. This is an endearing small shawlette/scarf that poses no great challenge to the ambitious knitter, and rewards the viewer with the look of all its dainty little features: the picot cast-off, the modest border pattern, and the lovely fagoted dividing line up the middle of the back. The individual 'pine cones' are an isolated motif that's easy to keep track of. From the Forest scarf series of Queen Anne's Lace. Patterns are charted only, not written out.
