1329 Knot Stitch Vest

"This is a tight-fitting garment and has a negative ease of approx. 0 - 5 cm/0" - 2"," observes Porter. Aside from that, it's very schoolgirly piece: quite a modest fabric, with just the regular little (easy-to-do) knot stitch adding a touch of interest. The shoulders are wide enough to hide lingerie straps were you to wear the piece on its own, and the neck is deep enough to show off your suprasternal notch (the hollow at the base of your throat) even with a blouse. Porter also points out: "Garment shown is worked with Italian tubular cast on and cast off. This is not required. Use your own preferred method." Good to know.
