5127 Inverse (Toe Up Version)
Don’t like walking on purl bumps? Don’t like purling a lot? Inverse is a reversible toe-up sock with flap heel, worked with the stockinette side out for ease of knitting. Prefer the look of the knit side? It works that way too! The directions are based on stitch markers, so any needle style can be used (double points, 2 circulars, or Magic Loop). Included under “Techniques”: a brief description of wrap & turn, and grafting resources. The instructions in this pattern are based on stitch counts (around) and measurements (lengths) so it can accommodate a (small) variety of needle/yarn sizes and a (large) variety of foot sizes. Suggested gauge of 7 - 8 stitches/inch and stitch counts ranging from 64 to 76 will fit women's medium to men's extra large. Worksheets are included to determine both stitch count and lengths. One sock is the picture was done toe-up, the other cuff-down. The cuff-down version is available here.
