820 Blue Sky

Has anyone ever felt this yarn and not loved it? This may be the perfect solution to the yarn's bulkiness and alpaca's supreme warmth: something so open and lacy that it can breathe deeply, and yet close around your body (and neck) so that you feel as sensuous as you look. Matthay explodes the scale of the stitch pattern so that it looks way more complicated than the 8 rows (four of them purled) it really takes to make it. So it's quick and feminine and gorgeous, soft and subtle, the perfect thing to wear to wherever you go on a winter's day.
