for fingertips 2009
"Knitting gloves can be a bit of a challenge," notes Dagmar Mora. "To make it easy for you, these gloves are done in stocking stitch with a bit of garter stitch only-- but nonetheless with a lot of effect due to the contrasting yarns and all the pointy bits! This should work with any fingering weight wool. Choose a variegated yarn that changes colour quickly (every few stitches rather than rows)." Awesome to behold and simpler than they look to make, this would also look avant-garde if each finger were a different colour-- just a few metres of oddment sock yarn and you're the hippest of the hip.
