Folded Lace Cuff Anklets (Cuff Down)

"A lacy fold-over cuff hides a snug knit-one-purl-one rib in these feminine anklets," reports Louet. "The cast-on edge forms a gentle scalloped edge on the cuff. The socks are turned inside out at the boundary between the lacy cuff and the ribbed ankle so that the right side of the cuff shows when it is folded over." And in every other respect Budd has crafted a worthy, traditional, exemplary sock. She even goes to the trouble of writing out Kitchener Stitch (grafting) instructions for you. But the girly little cuff is a welcome touch of whimsy.
