Catherine Jeandel

for Louet North America   c.2008

Catherine (Crochet)

"Crocheted out of our Euroflax Sport Weight yarn, this 'lacy' cardigan is a great addition to your wardrobe," says Louet. "Designed as casual summer or cruise wear, it also looks great over an evening dress." Back neck, shoulders, and armholes are shaped; sleeves have a lovely cap. This kind of thing is arguably more effective in crochet than knitting, because the fabric tends to be more stable; and you are even commanded to machine wash and dry this garment. How to improve on this? A magnificent size range, and no more than 6 skeins of yarn required for any of them. Gauge is 18 dc and 8 rows to 4"/10cm on a 4mm/G-6 hook; American crochet terminology.
