AC9e Felt Purses & Shoulder Bags (Collection II)

This is one of the ideal ways to start your knitting career, and if you have any experience at all, it's also a great way to use up smallish quantities of yarn or oddments. If you're a complete newbie, know that the felting process blurs the individual appearance of stitches, and that uneven tension can hardly matter. The yarn called for-- worsted weight-- is a 10 or 12 ply and the most popular weight of yarn in America, so there are vast quantities of it everywhere you look (Galeskas is especially fond of the feltable qualities of Naturally New Zealand yarns). Go find some non-superwash colours you like, and play. Gauge given is before felting.
