1003 Flaps & Cables Hat
WORLD EXCLUSIVE

"This pattern includes a chart for the entire hat," says Beckerich. "You begin with the earflaps, which are worked separately, and work up to the top. I used Malabrigo worsted merino double stranded. You could substitute another worsted weight yarn or single strand it with a chunky yarn. Just remember cables stand out with a solid yarn, and not so much with a variegated yarn." If you love charts, this is for you; just start working the earflaps as illustrated, follow the brief written indications, and you're away. We think Vikings would have loved this design.
