JC Briar

"A lacy little rib runs around the leg of this sock, forming a comfy honeycomb fabric," says Briar. "After cascading down the instep, it ends in a delicate point near the toe." We want her to go on with this sock poetry, but have to add that she also offers you the choice of a ruffled cuff or a knotted cuff (worked with a Channel Islands cast-on, which she explains in detail here). Make the leg summer-short, as shown, or longer-- Briar naturally advises that you will need more yarn to do this. A lovely, fun, graceful sock.
