The New Brunswick Pullover or Cardigan
WEB EXCLUSIVE

People have been wearing this kind of design for almost a century: the raglan-sleeved, patterned-yoke sweater. This example, from Canada's Maritimes, is wonderfully traditional. It's knit flat and seamed together. The chart is actually larger than most and easy to read. The ribbing at hem, cuffs, and neckline is all twisted, for added durability and good looks. A cardigan version is included as well (but not pictured), crew-necked, with button bands worked as part of the left and right fronts and extensions of the hem ribbing.
