To our publishers and customers

[April 30, 2019] After almost 11 successful years in business, Patternfish will cease selling patterns on 31 May, 2019.

We will continue to make our customers' stashes accessible to them to the end of 30 June, 2019, in order to provide them with time to save their purchased patterns to their personal hard drives.

Thank you all so very much for your enthusiastic support over the years.  It has meant an enormous amount to us.

JCA Crafts

FW2005-11 Cable and Rib Cardigan

The usual immaculate tailoring is here, with back neck and shoulder shaping, and deliciously-formed armholes and high sleeve caps. But the body is left straight (that is to say, there's no waist shaping) for more of a menswear/professorial silhouette. Reading about JCA Crafts patterns must be getting repetitive. They are chic, timeless, classy pieces that ground a wardrobe. There is never any buyer's remorse. Original yarn was 70% alpaca, 30% acrylic, tight twist, 73 yards/67 metres to 50g, 13 sts to 4"/10cm on a 6mm/US10 needle in st st.
