Classic Raglan Pullover (ages 2 - 10)

"A simple raglan pullover designed to fit comfortably over a layer or under a coat," says Richmond. "Knit from the top down, this garment can be tried on along the way and requires no seaming." It's an intriguing but easy way to make a garment, and if you've never done it, a great place to start: kids' pieces are small and this one-- with a worsted weight (10 ply) yarn knit at a slightly looser tension than usual-- goes quickly. Raglans are the easiest sleeve style to don and doff, and work extremely well for children as well as knitters.
