Chris de Longpre

for Knitting at KNoon   2007

Comfort Zone (ages 3 - 12)

"Pretty enough-- by far-- for dressing up, yet just as comfy as her favorite sweatsuit," says de Longpre. "A wonderful transition outfit for spring or fall, there's nothing prissy about this hardworking skirt and sweater set to make in a washable worsted weight." The skirt and sweater bodies are knit in the round. Sweater divides to flat knitting at the armholes, and shoulders are cast off together. Underarms are properly indented, and the sleeve caps are most unusually and flatteringly cut. A lovely ensemble, with a bonus matching 18" doll outfit available to match it.
