Chill Chaser (ages 3 - 10)

An American classic that has won fans the world over. This style (and, especially, this particular rendition of it) has no extras, but every needful thing. The raglan sleeve is the easiest of all to put on and take off; the hood is practical, warm, and can't get lost; the buttons are a good size to offer practice to small hands; and the pockets can keep hands cozy and carry 'tiny treasures' as de Longpre says. Selvage stitches are included throughout for ease of seaming, and the pockets are the wonderful kind that you pick up and knit down from a dummy row of stitches. Bonus: a version of this cardi for 18" girl dolls is available here.
