Linda Pratt,
Michele Rose (Orne)

for Classic Elite Yarns   1994

480 Islamabad, Pakistan

Two wonderful garments with very different kids of appeal. The Inca Alpaca on the left is all straight lines-- there's not even any neck shaping, just a kind of funnel collar built onto a boatneck-- but the natural drape of the alpaca takes care of that. Rose's showstopper of a cardi on the right is a fantasia of garter, slipped stitches, and fair isle. The Diva was a kind of suede/mohair combination seen in the fair isle bands; but since overall gauge is the same, you can substitute La Gran Mohair or just use more Montera, as it pleases you.
