FIC-06 Holly and Oak

Deep and rich and fulfilling. These have beautiful, complimentary patterns on the fingers and hand. Really, if you've made socks, gloves are hardly any different; the hand stitch count here is less than the stitch count for many adult socks, and the fingers are small but go very fast. And when you're done, you have something remarkable: functional, true, worthy pieces that become instant history. The colourway here is unusual and fresh, the cuffs non-standard. Thumb is placed differently for left and right gloves.

For those tackling these wonderful gloves, please note that for chart #1 on page 2, the symbols for maroon and pine seem to have been reversed. In order to achieve the color pattern shown in the photos you will have to switch them.
