There's something for everybody here. A saucy little knit halter top in a DK luxury yarn, brief and inviting; and a delicate motif-based crochet lace shawl, done with a 5mm/8/G hook, a few beads (120 all told) and a laceweight yarn. This pattern, from New Zealand, is sufficiently cosmopolitan to provide its British crochet terms with US equivalents in brackets. For hippie bohemia, you can make the shawl in many colours, as shown. But it would be ethereal and serene in one, too.
