To our publishers and customers

[April 30, 2019] After almost 11 successful years in business, Patternfish will cease selling patterns on 31 May, 2019.

We will continue to make our customers' stashes accessible to them to the end of 30 June, 2019, in order to provide them with time to save their purchased patterns to their personal hard drives.

Thank you all so very much for your enthusiastic support over the years.  It has meant an enormous amount to us.

Lynda Gemmell

for Cabin Fever   2009

089 Fancy Neck Cozies

Gemmell describes in amusing detail her design inspirations for these intensely useful and handsome pieces, and describes likewise how you do not, in fact, have to make any buttonholes at all (despite appearances). As you can see, they can suit men and women equally well; much depends on the yarn you choose. Only 90 yards (82 metres) each of two Aran (or heavy worsted) weight yarns are required for each piece-- you can go to town choosing bright contrasty colours or more subtle, sober ones.
