Mary Beth Temple

for Hooked For Life   2008

Field of Flowers (Crochet, Version B)

"Yum, sock yarn," says Temple. "I love sock yarn, but sometimes I don't want to make socks. This lacy scarf works up fairly quickly despite the small hook size, and the randomly placed floral embellishments will ensure that each crocheter's project will be unique. Just what I needed-- an excuse to buy more sock yarn!" Why does one have to justify this? But new styles of projects are always welcome for this weight of yarn, and this one is truly lovely. Gauge is 24 sts and 8 rows to 4"/10cm in pattern stitch with a C/2/2.75mm hook, but is not critical to the project. This is a variation of Version A, which is made with Noro Kureyon Sock.
