HSH02 Playing in the Leaves Collection
"Here's a trio of lace leaf designs to delight anyone and everyone. I chose autumn colors in memory of the piles of leaves I loved to jump into. You'll enjoy making a whole pile of these knitted leaves to play in! Included are an Aspen leaf in trellis lace with serrated edging, a 5-point increase Maple Leaf, and an Oak Leaf with an interesting lace edging construction built around the I-cord stem. There is no sewing; finishing merely involves weaving in the tails from the start and completion of knitting, then a simple blocking," says the designer. The seasonal and yarn possibilities here are boundless, and no leaf takes more than 14 yards (13 metres).
