SRK 185 Ballet Top with Ribbon Tie

If you're lucky, you've had a chance to work with those addictive kid mohair/silk laceweight blends (see suggestions below), of which Ovation was one. This design uses that type of yarn doubled (gauge below reflects that). It's a marvellous, cream-soft wrap cardigan with lace detailing in every flattering place. The lace is knitted into the hem and sleeve cuffs as part of the garment; the neck trim is knit separately and then joined to the picked-up front and neck stitches with a three-needle bind off. This easily produces an infallibly neat edge. Set-in sleeves add to the tailored coziness.
