FD-144 Vervain

Like the Lantana, Vervain is a flower in the Verbena family, and has delightful clusters of lovely purple flowers. Like my Lantana pattern, Vervain has clusters of Estonian stitches, but here nupps replace the beads, and the shape is different. This one being a triangular shawl, and that one a long rectangular scarf.

Knitting begins with a cast on of just five little stitches. It grows on the right edge of most right-side rows until the triangle is about as big as desired, or the yarn starts to run short, then the border is worked.
