N1120 Jacket with Lower Lace Section
This jacket is light as a feather when knit with a fine lace yarn. And so pretty!
First, the jacket is knit in stocking stitch from the waist upward. The deep lace border is knit in one piece. This piece is then sewn to the bottom of the jacket. Unusual construction but a stunning result.
The jacket can be held together with a belt as shown in the photo but would look great with a shawl pin. Or with a large button and a loop at the waistline.
