128 Wheat and Clover Cowl
A subtle, dressy cowl for him or her combines traditional patterns Bavarian Cloverleaf (Kleeblatt) and Small Wheat Grain (Woazkörndl). It’s knit at a tight gauge to keep the chill out. A subtle semi-solid colorway shows off the twisted stitches while giving the design depth. The width and length are easily adjustable. Because the piece is worked flat, twisted stitches are worked from both sides of the fabric.
The 3-page pattern includes both charted and written instructions on separate pages, so only the relevant pages need to be printed.
Buttons shown: three 7/16” / 11 mm buttons (La Petite, style 1025 by Blumenthal Lansing).
A pattern for matching Wheat and Clover Fingerless Gloves is available separately.
