9315 Sweaters

We didn't think it was possible for a little lacy garter edging to look this great in a variegate, but the evidence is before you-- it's terrific, and makes a fine plain sweater into something really intriguing. And the lace is so easy! There's only 1 active row out of 4; all the others are just knitted or purled. You can see how the lace looks in the red cowl shown (optional). The plain round neck is minimally finished with a couple of garter ridges-- which echo the garter rows in the lace-- so understated, so classy. Sleeves are set in. If the variegate idea doesn't blow your skirt up, then use one of the suggested plain yarns for more direct impact.
