N1166 Sideways Knitted Jacket
Fabulously cozy piece, this-- and flattering, too. Schrade arranges the construction so that you work the left front, back, and sleeve all at once, starting with the cuff; then you work the right side similarly. This results in three things. First, one easy vertical seam running up the middle of the back joining the pieces (the wide border unites them further). Second, a really becoming stripe pattern running vertically (the Drift has a long, slow, gentle repeat). Third, a batwing or kimono sleeve means warmth, comfort, and ease. Note that there is a pattern fabric-- on the RS, it's knit 5, purl 1, for a subtle pinstripe effect.
