1597 Sampler Pullover

This is an immensely popular style with knitters, and always has been-- the sampler tunic in a simple shape. This particular garment is very lovely, and Meadows has inserted a saucy little eyelet row just above the bust-- you can be supremely comfortable and alluring. The front and back are alike; the sleeves have only a rudimentary shaping; there are no armholes or armscyes to worry about-- you just practice different stitch patterns in the body of the fabric, and then sew the pieces together (all the sewing is along straight lines, no curves). We think this kind of garment would be at home in The Vikings, as it would in many periods throughout history (and many TV series!).

Approx. 5- 10 cm/ 2- 4 ins of ease.
