SRK190 Evening Cable Tank

Depending on how you choose to wear it, this is either a graceful wardrobe-builder, or a scorching retort to all those twits who think that knitting is for grannies. In fact, we may just make one for that reason. You can, of course, wear it over a crisp white shirt or long-sleeved tee, and maybe under a blazer, and be perfectly proper. But to wear it outside as shown is to be in automatic need of an armed escort. It's dead simple and quick to make, so if you can't find any Irise, just look for a drapey, silky light DK and get out of your own way.

Red Bird Knits

And for those of us with less than flat stomachs - perhaps an insert or just join the fronts - cables all the way maybe. My daughter would just wear it over another or 2 perhaps camis in complementary colours. Either way this is going to be a summer top for me in cotton.
