Bergere de France
119.55 Turtleneck Sweater
There is always at least one inimitable detail about Bergere de France garments, and often more. This luscious turtleneck has two main ones. First and most obviously, the subversive and asymmetrical ribbing at the hem, cuffs, and shoulders: off-centre, non-standard, surprising (like you, of course). Second, the very subtle and immensely pleasing combination of yarns used: one strand each of Bali and Annecy to produce the marled effect (they knit at 26 and 23 sts/4"/10cm respectively). The result is a traditional sweater, easily worked, but with an air of intrigue. Would look great on men as well.
