HSS10 Frolicking Shamrock Socks (Cuff Down)
"Beaded shamrocks dance about your legs in these green-on-green socks to celebrate good luck and laughter in the Irish tradition," smiles the designer. "(They) feature beaded knitting with purl stitch embossing, and a decorative slip stitch heel with garter edging." We find these hugely appealing-- they're the opposite of kitschy (as many things celebrating St. Patrick's Day are), the design is tasteful and lovely, and it only takes a maximum of 312 beads per sock: very manageable even for a bead newbie. Bead pattern is charted and written out. Erin go bragh!
