Laura Bryant

for Prism Yarn   2016

8601 Goldilocks Ponchos

In which Bryant makes even the most unskilled knitter look like she stepped right out of Vogue: this piece is as easy to knit as it is spectacular to look at. Except for the first couple of rows, it is all knit in the round, with the neck picked up afterward in the delicious furry Plume and worked out a little from there. For the longer sizes (Mama and Papa Bear, shown in the darkest and blue/brown colourways respectively), work a round or two of Madison or Symphony every 2 - 4 rounds, alternating with the Full Stuff in the body. Aim for a gauge of 14 stitches to 4", but don't fret about it. Every garment will be different, and every one a marvel.

N.B. The main yarn for these garments is Full Stuff. While a member of the fabulous Stuff family, it is so new that a description for it is not yet available even on the Prism Yarn site. We will provide a proper yarn listing as soon as Prism makes it available.
