345 Rosa Rugosa Blouse

Let skeptics scoff. This design, sought after for almost two decades, remains a benchmark of casual prettiness. In itself, the piece is quite easy to make. The lace is undemanding and limited, the shapes not large. But Rose absolutely knows what she's about: there's some vestigial tailoring in the back neck and shoulder sloping, even if the armholes are straight and the sleeves a pure drop. In a soft cotton like Provence (to replace the defunct Newport Light), that's really all the shaping you need. Charts for duplicate stitch embroidery are very kindly given twice, mirrored for left and right sides.
