P1141 3 Ply Cardigan
Knit this cardigan in stocking stitch or bramble stitch, either way it is the perfect gift for a baby. The pattern includes instructions for both versions.
The bramble stitch is created by increasing into one stitch to make it three, then, purling these 3 stitches together on the next row.
The stocking stitch version may be knit in a solid colour, like the photo, or use a variegated yarn.
The hemline and cuff are worked in knit one, purl one rib. The front and neck band is knit in garter stitch at the same time as the fronts.
This is a multi-sized pattern designed to fit from a 16" to 20" chest.
