To our publishers and customers

[June 16, 2019] The site has now stopped selling patterns.

[April 30, 2019] After almost 11 successful years in business, Patternfish will cease selling patterns on 16 June, 2019.

We will continue to make our customers' stashes accessible to them to the end of 30 June, 2019, in order to provide them with time to save their purchased patterns to their personal hard drives.

Thank you all so very much for your enthusiastic support over the years.  It has meant an enormous amount to us.

CTH-247 Cabled DK Sock (Cuff Down)

All right, it would probably show better in a quieter colourway. But this is an extremely attractive pattern, and a fun teaching one. The only time you have to pay attention is during the cable panel down the front of the sock; the rest is just merry old 2 x 2 ribbing. And there's only serious cabling activity on even-numbered rounds. So there are lots of rewards and some intrigue to making this-- and it goes faster than usual, because of the slightly heavier weight than a conventional sock yarn. Rewarding.
