Ponchetta
Ponchetta is a small poncho, knit seamlessly from the bottom-up and makes a perfect little layering piece. Sized from XS to 2X, it features an easy yet interesting stitch pattern and straight-forward construction.
It is worked flat from the hem to shoulders (on a long circular needle) and the 3 Needle Bind-Off Technique is used to seam up the left shoulder (a very easy bind-off technique if you have never used it before). Remaining stitches are then transferred to a smaller circular needle and worked in the round to create the cowl neck.
It’s suitable for beginners looking to branch out from scarves and cowls and more advanced knitters will enjoy the relaxing nature of this knit.
