To our publishers and customers

[April 30, 2019] After almost 11 successful years in business, Patternfish will cease selling patterns on 31 May, 2019.

We will continue to make our customers' stashes accessible to them to the end of 30 June, 2019, in order to provide them with time to save their purchased patterns to their personal hard drives.

Thank you all so very much for your enthusiastic support over the years.  It has meant an enormous amount to us.

Felted Backpack

This snappy little backpack is designed with great care and looks wonderful-- but perhaps the best part is the way it feels. Kokopelli is an exceptionally sensual experience, and every knitter should use it at least once (like trying truffles). The pattern itself is very detailed-- much of it is written line by line-- and the design contains all manner of smart touches. These include the use of D-rings (see under the model's right arm), I-cord ties, buttons, a handle, and the addition of a very useful pocket at the back. It's involving and practical and lovely all at once.
