All Colors Sweater/3 Colors Sweater

This design is pure timeless enchantment. It belongs just as much to the 21st century as it would have to the 19th, whether in its 3 Color or All Color version. We are very honoured to have it be Patternfish's Official 20,000th Pattern.

It's worked top down, in the round, with a steek. The last few inches of the hem are worked back and forth, flat; sleeves are worked in the round. There is no 'sewing', unless you count machine reinforcement of the steeks, which we do not-- or tacking them down to the inside (a crocheted steek should work well here, too). There is some waist shaping worked into some fair isle panels, for extra flattery-- this is especially visible on the 3 Color back view.

The pattern is very detailed, 32 pages, with charting separate for each different size.

This is one of those very rare and precious pieces that you pull on when you know you are the heroine of your own life and want to look it. And it seems to want to be worn with a pair of high boots.
