NM5-22 Fisherman's Sweater
Here in the irresistible Silk Garden Solo yarn is shown off to marvellous effect. The design is based on tradition, to be sure-- but when confronted with the glorious Noro shade range, what can one do but succumb? Hence Hatta's use of not one but three evocative colours: vibrant, modern, stirring, all the while saluting the classic Aran appearance. Conventionally worked in pieces, but with the added finesse of the raglan sleeve caps being shaped appropriately for left and right sides, two stitches in from the edge. Gauge is given over double seed stitch. This design is from Noro Magazine 5.
