To Eyre ...

Charming 1800's style ruffled garter stitch shawl, inspired by the film version of the story, in 4 versions. Each one is worked in garter stitch and uses easy short rows both to form a soft ruffle at the bottom and also around the neckline for a shawl that really stays put.

Version 1 (shown) has a high shoulder and a back that curves down with a deep ruffle; in 2 sizes: 15.5 (17.5)" deep by 47 (53)" long (shortest length - around the neckline).

Version 2 is longer over the shoulder and straighter across the back; in 1 size: 13" deep by 46.5" long.

Petite Jane is very abbreviated with double darts in the back (shown); in 1 size: 9" deep by 38" long.

Outdoors Eyre is similar to Version 1, but overall longer and wider; in 2 sizes: 21.5 (24)" deep by 57 (67)" long.
