To our publishers and customers

[April 30, 2019] After almost 11 successful years in business, Patternfish will cease selling patterns on 31 May, 2019.

We will continue to make our customers' stashes accessible to them to the end of 30 June, 2019, in order to provide them with time to save their purchased patterns to their personal hard drives.

Thank you all so very much for your enthusiastic support over the years.  It has meant an enormous amount to us.

JB275 Sweater (age 10 up)

You would think that when a yarn works up at 7.5 sts to 4"/10cm, that the results might reasonably look a bit... unrefined. Not here! The combination of the lacy openwork panel on the front, and the neatly set-in sleeves, rescues this piece from clunkiness and elevates it to high fashion. It is inherently layerable, but what you layer it over is entirely up to you; worn by itself, you could even introduce the world to chunky-weight lingerie. We love the combination of the dramatically-framed crew neck and the lacy diamonds cascading down from it; the whole design is reminiscent of a chandelier earring.
