019 Panel Tote Bag

The Panel Tote Bag is worked in panels of stocking stitch that are joined as you knit. You can use any DK yarn or a mix of DK and aran weight yarns. It’s ideal for using up small amounts of yarn, part balls, stash yarns etc; each panel takes approximately 30g. The bag can also be worked in multi-coloured, handpainted, or variegated yarns.

MATERIALS
Double knitting or aran weight yarns.
3.75mm (US 5) knitting needles
Ready made bag handles
Lining Fabric

FINISHED SIZE
36cm (14in) wide and 42cm (16 1/2in) high (excluding handles)

STITCHES USED
Cast on, knit, purl, joining stitches (diagram), cast off.
