To our publishers and customers

[June 16, 2019] The site has now stopped selling patterns.

[April 30, 2019] After almost 11 successful years in business, Patternfish will cease selling patterns on 16 June, 2019.

We will continue to make our customers' stashes accessible to them to the end of 30 June, 2019, in order to provide them with time to save their purchased patterns to their personal hard drives.

Thank you all so very much for your enthusiastic support over the years.  It has meant an enormous amount to us.

The idea for Bláithín - the Bee Queen arised after reading the tale “the Bee Queen” by the Grimm Brothers. Simpleton has to fulfill three tasks. The first one is collecting a thousand beads (bead pattern). The second one is to get the key to the pricess’s bedroom from the ground of a lake (wave pattern). The third one is to state which princess ate honey before falling asleep (honeycomb pattern). These three tasks are represented by the three parts in the pattern.

The shawl is a horn shape.

Sizes can be found in the data picture.

Happy knitting.
