"Stormy" Cabled Pullover
This fantastic design is like one of those optical illusions that advance and recede; there are so many different ways to interpret this cable pattern visually that it's hard to look away. One of Zimmerman's many great strengths is integrating the ribbing into the design as a whole (see also this piece), and it's beautifully showcased here. The designer properly incorporates every valuable tailoring detail: back neck, shoulders, and sleeve caps are all shaped to flatter. Did we mention that this garment is meant to be close-fitting? Can you imagine this in real life? Back has the same cable patterning as the front. Gauge given is over Irish Moss stitch. If you are using the Majestic Tweed to substitute for the Stormy, just make sure you get gauge.
