103 Abbreviated Jacket

"The simple slip-stitch pattern used in this sweater adds structure not usually found in knitwear, which together with the cropped shape reminds me of jackets from the early 1960s," muses Dulaney. "The body and sleeves are knit seamlessly from the hem up, then sewn together at the shoulders." Dulaney, clearly born to design, is kind enough to offer a large size range in small increments, knowing how critical fit is to this beautiful piece-- which evokes Audrey, Jackie, Givenchy, Cardin, Cassini. A bit of (American) crochet finishes off the edges.
