7152 Ladies' Cardigan
Many knitters are more comfortable with stitch patterning than sewing together or assembling the garment. This cardigan (jacket) offers the best of these two worlds: gorgeous stitchery, lush and emphatic, on a very simple straight-sided silhouette. There is no armhole shaping at all to worry about. The piece falls straight down from very sloped shoulders; the only curves are at the top of the sleeve caps and at the neck shaping. The front borders and collar are worked up from stitches on hold at the hem in two pieces that meet at the back neck. Collar shaping is done with increases only-- easy!
