Sharon Winsauer

for Crazy Lace Lady   2010

Irish Cathedral

This design was inspired by the beautiful stained glass window in the Galway Cathedral in Ireland.

It has 4 different lace patterns representing the glass areas and uses twisted stitches for texture in the frame.

The shawl consists of 6 identical segments. It is knit in the round until the circular border is reached. The points are knit back and forth.
