Susan Mills

for Classic Elite Yarns   2014

1411-3 Shelburne

"This cardigan is worked in three sections," says Mills. "First the right front and sleeve, then the left front and sleeve, and lastly the back and back sleeves. Both fronts are worked from the lower edge to the armholes, then stitches for the sleeves are cast on and the fronts are worked to the top of the shoulders. Sleeve and shoulder stitches are placed on a spare needle and the collar is completed. The back and back sleeves are worked from the tops of the left and right front shoulders and sleeves down to the lower edge." Sleeve and side seams are easy to sew-- all straight lines. And be sure and check out the back view: it's amazing.
