Robyn Gallimore

for Red Bird Knits   2008

Snowy Woods

"'Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening' (Robert Frost) inspired this sock," reports Gallimore. "Seasonal without being too literal, the sock uses some traditional motifs in a non-traditional way." Its delicious green evokes both evergreens and ivy. The use of the smaller border pattern around the cuff contrasts very happily with the larger motifs around the ankle, and provides pleasant variety for the knitter. This is Gallimore's Sock of the Month for November 2008. Subscribers receive the kit; otherwise the pattern is exclusive to Patternfish.

Hello Ilookthetype

Sorry you are having problems with reading the charts. I have rejigged them to read landscape and uploaded a new PDF so I hope that helps. Another possibility is to take them to a copy shop and have the charts enlarged.
