237-0R-18 Kazak Style Oriental Design Rug
Kazak Style Rug Oriental carpets are classified according to the region where they are made or the people who make them. In this instance, the Kazak people are mainly shepherds living in the area of the Caucasus Mountains. Instead of dense intricate designs, they use large bold designs on solid color backgrounds. Borders are jagged with designs on solid color backgrounds with hooks and points being used frequently. A distinctive feature of most Oriental rugs is the trend to use borders within borders until the center is reached.
